How to identify the value of parameter icm/host_name_full on Unix

Hello!

I installed SAP Solution Manager and have problem to see any graphical elements in Tcode SOLMAN_DIRECTORY.

I have set the parameter icm/host_name_full to the value

host.dummy.com, because I do not have the full name of my host.

Unfortunately it seems to be a problem, becaue any grafical elements will not be shown.

How can this problem be solved?

Hi,

The most simple way to do is go to RZ11. CHANGE IT THERE. unless you want to change it for permanently which will need to be added in INSTANCE profile.

Unfortunately I am looking for the value of hostname.domain.ext, not just for hostname.

How can this be identified?

Did you go through the link that i sent? don't infer anything from the link. The command gives you FQDN.
