Sap Service SAPOSCOL and SAPSEN_30 not starting

Former Member

Hello, to day I tried to log in to my IDES system and in the console I could not see the tree structure. So checked the Service and found that SAPOSCOL and SAPSEN_30 were not started. I tried to start these two services and received the erro 1069: The service did not start due to a log on failure.

How to correct this?

hello,

1. open services

2. Double click on SAPSEN_30

3. Click on Log-on

4. Give the new password here.

Do the same with SAPOSCOL also.

Hope this will resolve your issue.

Hi Good day If <SID> is missing from SAPMMC.

The following are the steps which i generally proceed.

Go to run and type sapstartsrv.exe & will get a new window.

Provide the follwing inputs

  • Install serviceregister com servicestart service

leave it as default.

SID -- provide for ex <MIG> given at time of installation

(or) u can check it in USR/SAP/SID in file system for your SID

Select start prfile ---browse-usr\sap\sid\sys\profile\START_DVEBMGS00_HOSTNAME.PFL

& PASSWORD PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION.

Now select ok & continue & it will recover the Missing SID

Hi

If you changed the password of window logon then you will face this problem. So, solution is:

reset to the previous password of ur window logon (user name).

never do this.

Check the password from SAPService<SID> or re-type it in the "properties" tab of the service.
