Changed document for custom fields

Hi All,

For business transactions we can see <b>changed documents</b> under <b>Extras</b> menu.

I have custom tabs & custom fields in business transaction. We need to see the custom field changes by value & user in the above menu. Is it possible? how?

Hi Murlidhar,

My question is related to SAP CRM. The notes you suggested are not for CRM.

Others, do you have any idea how to add/show records in "Extras-> Change Documents" of business transactions like Sales order, activities for custom fields not using EEWB.

Hi Bhushan,

You need to implement the function modules for the BDT events CHGD1, CHGD2, CHGD3, CHGD4. Go to transaction BUS7 and you can see the sample implementations.

Go to the corresponding data element of the custom field and check the "Change Document" option in the Further Characterstics tab.

Hi Amit,

Thats enabled for the data element but where & how can see the changes?

Also the preference is to see them in Menu path of a transaction

Extras -> Changed document"
