How to make inernal number range to support alphanumeric?

Hi,

Could kindly advise how to achieve below..

1)Number range object 'HU_VEKP' is in Alphanumeric from 00001 to ZZZZZ.

2)From where could see the 'Current number'.

Number length domain: VSTEL Char5

If set in external, could not see the current number.

If set in numeric, it only could be numeric...

Why we need achieve above, because existing standard number range will

be exhausted cause we have business requirement only pick last 5

digits, then it could only be 00001 to 99999, and we will active the

HUM, BOX number should be in unique, so this is not enough for our

actual business. So if the number range is from 00001 to ZZZZZ, then it

will have 28 million combinations. We hope system could automatically

populate the HU number in sequence from 00001 to ZZZZZ, and from where

we could get the current number??

tru it in xdn1 or xn01 u can see the current number in the number range which u have assigned in the document internal or external
