Convert output idoc to input idoc

Hello

I'm sending an idoc out of SAP, and it ends in a directory at the port (file) - super, that works.

Now I do want to turn my outbound idoc to an inbound idoc into the system. It can be done manually in WE19, because both partners (sending/receiviing) are logical systems.

Do you know a easy way to do this?

Thank you for your interest.

Sorry not to be absolutely clear.

It is without XI, and the idoc is sent directly back to it self.

Simple, in We19, select option start Inboudn Processing.

Or the Outbound Partner Profile port, should refer to the RFC destination that refers to the same R3 server itself.

Have not tried this though, but I see no reason as to why it should not work.

Not sure I understood the question. DO you want to send an Idoc to XI? Do you want to send an Idoc from a SAP system back to itself? With or without XI?
