HAI,

Copied one of our roles to a new role.

When I go to the new role and want to change authorization for s_tcode.

I want to remove a transaction from s_tcode. I only have a display icon

It will not let me delete transaction.

How can I change display icon to change

Remove it from the menu, not S_TCODE object.

In later releases of SAP S_TCODE is defaulted to display to try to force the use of the menu to maintain transactions. There are ways around it to add transactions (manually insert another instance of S_TCODE) but it would appear that there aren't any to delete them.

Again, this goes back to a few similar posts from this week.

If you want to keep control over your authorizations, STOP adding stuff manually.

The proper way to add or remove transactions is via the menu, this is the only way to manage the associated authorization objects. If you're not happy with the defualts, go into SU24 and maintain the relevant objects.

Anything else will give you a lot of headache in the future.

Hi Sam,

Can u pl try this work around?

Make this object S_Tcode inactive.

Add one more obj S_TCODE manually and add all those tcodes you want to add.

Hello Sam,

Like has been pointed out, in my own experience i have observed that you CANNOT delete transactions on S_TCODE, from inside PFCG, cos its set 2 display by default.

Go to the Menu Tab and delete those you want to delete.
