ESS Corporate Code of Conduct

In the new ERP2005 ESS they have a sample Interactive form in the Corporate Information Area called "Code of Conduct Service" based on the backend system form ISR_FORM_SECC.

We have been able to successfully run the service and generate the Interactive PDF in the portal but when we attempt to "send" to form we are getting a error that the "Notification Type E1" has not been created in the backend system.

Does the backend system need to be at a specific patch level or do I need to manually configure the Notification type?

you need to define a notification type first. You do this in Customizing under Internal Service Request -> Prepare General Notification -> Notification Creation -> Notification Type -> Define Notification Types.

ASSOCIATED NOTIFICATION TYPE WITH YOUR REQUEST IS E1, FOLLOW THE ABOVE PATH AND DEFINE THE NOTIFICATION PLEASE.

It just requires configuration of Notification type and bind it to the service ISR_FORM_SECC. It will work.
