Flag for deletion material master

Hi all gurus,

Can I set the system show any message if I flag for deletion material master that still remains qty in inventory?

Yes, I can Flag for Deletion if Stock Exists. Not recommended to do, but it can be done.

Why do you want to flag for deletion?

Possibly 2 reasons -

1) Material created by mistake

2) Material is obsolete

1) If it is created by mistake, then there should be a correct material. Please move the stock to the correct material and delete this material.

2) If it is obsolete, do not delete. Use X-Plant material status to block receipts of this material. You can flag for deletion once the stock is issued.

You can do flag for deletion for your material in T.Code MM06
