WHICH SAP SERVER u are talking about.

our local server or the german server

SAP SERVER: is our EPD

ECC server is our HRD

both are accessible.

the error rc14 usually comes when the SAPGUI partner is not reached.

In your case I wanted you to check that from EPD are you able to ping HRD and vice versa.

Secondly from the client machine ( any other machine) are you able to ping EPD and HRD as well?

absolutely fine. you can definately do that. I just wanted you to check whether are you able to access the SAP Server from the machine where ECC is installed.

Hi Ashwani,

Seems you are unable to reach the SAP Server from the EP System.

Please recheck that you are able to ping the SAP ECC box from the client machine where you are running the Java Application.

Secondly also see if sapgui is installed on the machine you are trying to run the applicaiton and if SAP ECC is getting opened through it.

Hope this helps!
