i have already formed the new selection. and i tried to drop it afterwards but i even could not see the attribute in choices. but when i look at the cube i see that the attribute was defined as navigational

Please check if the box against the attribute is checked in the cube.

Hi,

To use a char (any char or nav attr) in a structure, you cannot drag and drop. Right click the structure and choose New Selection. Then drag your char/nav attr as a part of the selection.

You cannot an attribute in a structure unless it is a Navigational Attribute.

Only if the attribute is Nav. Attribute, then you will be able to use in structure.
