Hi
We are integrating a third party CRM to our r/3 using XI . we wanted to use changepointers to update the CRM system when ever a new customer is created. We are going with idocs to send the new customer information to CRM. It seems that there is an inevitable delay using changepointres and running the rbdmidoc in a batch job. If we want this update to be as instantanious as possible , can we use an alternative solution to changepointers ?
I mean using XI and r/3's other capabilities can we desin an alternative solution ? does using proxies is going to help in this situation in any way. ?
Please tell me your opinions and design ideaS for this problem.
Thanks a lot.
Thank you

I would use change pointers and Idocs for this. We currently schedule these to run every ten minutes.
you could use proxies, but they would have to be written.
Best to use standard than develop your own, unless the standard doesn't cover your requirements. You can always extend the Idoc segments for extra fields, if required.
