this can be for the following reasons...

1. your File adapter might throw some error ( check RWB-->Adapter monitoring)

2. Data might be stuck in Queue ( TO-BE-Delivered state) cehck in adapter engine or cache

3. Since you are sending data to the remote server, it's so happens sometimes if the idle time is more from one file is sent and for another file it the gap is more then you might have to reactivate the file adapter and run the interface.

4. Check is there any batch file running on the FTP by legacy which are moving the files form that location...

5. Make Sure you are sending the data ( No empty files Careated).

You can also send a sample test message from the RWB in oder to check the communication

however, communication channel monitoring is the sure shot solution to this problem

Hi,

First of all See RWB what message you are getting. Then Check your Port, user id and password in FTP. Also check the target folder for authorizations.

Check the log in the File Receiver adapter..from the Communication Channel Monitoring(RWB).

Also look on this:-

Check the directory name.

FTP server connection parameters..like username, ipaddress, password.

also an authorization to write the file in the target directory of the FTP server.

check Adapter is active or not:-)

Monitor Receiver side adapter and receiver side communication channel for the exact problem.

Also check if you have specified the FTP parameters correctly.

Try sending a different IDOC for testing purpose

Hi,

1.Did u checked the receive file adapter in the RWB?

2. Also check the directory you are looking at and the path that u have specified in the receiver File CC.

Hi,

I have checked all the way...in RWC receiver communication is showing no message processed yet.I think the Idoc is not reaching the communication channel itself. What other possibilities can be there??

FTP server assress, userid and password everything is correct. And the same scenarion is working in development server, its failing on the quality server only.

kindly help.

Thnks,

Hi Ratnapriya,

Just delete existing communication channel..refresh complete cache and create it again. Today there was a thread had same issue with FTP and deleting n recreating CC worked for him..

Hi,

Have you check the file is not empty. If file is empty, XI will not send it, and the file will be removed from the source system.

Hope this helps.
