hi guys ,
there are 5 plants one is production facility. Production is make to stock. while running MRP the system is considering STO's.
also the requirements are generated by APO hence twice requirement generation is there.
so want to remove the STO from MRP run..
kindly suggest the solution

Hi,
To exclude certain materials from MRP (perhaps because they are planned in APO) then create a new MRP type, and assign that MRP type to all such materials.
In the MRP type config define "MRP ind. forecast" = blank (not to be included in planning) and also "forecast ind" = blank (no forecast).
This then leaves the planning to external system, or even just excluded from internal MRP altogether.
Thanks.
Hi ,
You can try with these two things:
1 In the material master in MRP2 view remove the special procurement type which u might hav selected for STO.
2.If any source list is maintained for this material then remove the MRP indicator 2 from there so that it does not directly generate schedule lines.
Hope is helps.
reward if useful
Rohit
