Hi,
Vendors are not downloaded via the middleware -- instead using a transaction "BBPGETVD" or via the synchronization, why don't we use CRM middleware.

Raghu.
Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
CRM Middleware is not enough for you.
Please go through the OSS Note and link which contains the details ->
Note 872533 - FAQ - Middleware

Generally Vendor masters has to come from R3 using Tx BBPGETVD for replication and BBPUPDVD for updation. You have to create a org unit in the vendor org structure (PPOCV_BBP). Once this is done you can replicate the vendors from R/3 to SRM.
There is no standard functionality to replicate from SRM to ECC. You will need custom program, if you want to replicate from SRM to ECC.
Do let me know. Hope this will help.

Hi,
CRM Middleware is to replicate Material Master. The reason being the materials come into the system only as BDOCs and not Via RFC. Why materials do not come in as RFC as well, we really need to ask SAP. I am sure there are number of technical limitations that SAP had to replicate materials via RFC and hence the middleware is being used.
Hope the info Helps !!
Pls assign points if answer is usefull
