Integreating the XI with BIW (withour using the Proxy)

Proxy is one of the method of the communication (depending on your WAS version)

if not use the following method

1. use the IDOC.

2. use the RFC or Bapi.......

check this link

Hi selvam,

Practically speaking there are only 3 ways u can communicate XI with any other SAP system,

1)Proxy

2)RFC

3)IDoc

since u dont want to use proxy u have to use RFC and IDoc.

I will suggest u to go for proxy.

u can create a RFC...import it in IR...this RFC will provide data to fill the PSA table.I dont think there exit any docs regarding that...just give a try.

Hi

Yes its very much possible using RFC and Soap Adapter.

RFC is not recommended when it comes to mass load scenarios with certain updates. Also when you take a synchronous scenario transactional security is not possible and only one receiver system can be there.

strictly separated updates

In case of SOAP Adapter multiple deliveries are possible but it requires extensive

configuration effort and EOIO cannot be achieved.

But Proxies are recommended without any restriction since they are a standard way with flexibility concerning error handling.

Thanks
