Change field label for customer master field

Hi everybody

I would like to change field label for field name COMMENT in customer master data tab General , How can I change? Pls. help me.

do you want to chnage the description of the field? That is not really suggested...

The way to do it, is to change the data element description.

However this field or data element may be used in other programs and screens so if you change it, it will change in all of the programs and screens where it is used.

It is never recommended that you make this change, as you are changing standard SAP.

It could be an idea to copy the program and then, create your own data element, which is unique to the t code.

If you are using ERP 6.0 I would suggest you do this as an enhancement, via the enhancement framework, a good ABAP'er should be able to help you here.
