Hi,
Can anyone explain What is Configuring SAP and Customizing SAP
is both are same?
Thanks in Advance
Hi Ramakrishna...
If i am right, configuring SAP means configuring the standard features provided by SAP according to customers need. and customizing means the customer requirement are not fulfilled by standard features, so we need to develop that things according to there need

Hi Ramakrishna,
In simple and short:
Configuring SAP means you are implementing SAP without doing any kind of modification in the actual SAP functionality in other words you are implementing SAP as it is (standard).
And Customizing means that you are implementing SAP by modifying its actual functionality according to your business requirements.

Hi ramakrishna
Configuration means configure the obects and functanality as per your reqirement and scenario using functanity and features provide by SAP
ex making the connection betwen legacy systems etc..
Customization means lot of packages are there in SAP ex for MM_XI_SRM
if any client wants to connect MM server and SRM server , then there is predefined
package you just import and select / customize those application which you need
Thanks!!
