Hi,
I´m using BW 7.0, i just installed SP13.
I load 0VENDOR ATTR without problem, but I had a short dump loadind a DTP Text of 0VENDOR.
Following message:
"ASSERTION_FAILED" " "
"CL_RSTRAN_GEN_STEP_DIRECT=====CP" or "CL_RSTRAN_GEN_STEP_DIRECT=====CM001"
"GET_META_OBJECT_"
Does anyone knows how to solve it?
Thanks
Tomas
Tomas,
If you find the transformation inactive it could have happend for any other transported objects as well. You can check whether the standard ABAP prgram that activate all transfer rules (use RS_TRANSTRU_ACIVATE_ALL).
In our installation we keep the master data loaded in a old way which seems easier compared to DTP, it may be convenient for transaction data but never felt easy with master data (IP, then DTP too much for some of the master data). SO we have both old way for master data and new way for transaction data.
Hope this helps, award points if useful.
Goodluck,
Alex(Arthur Samson)

reactivate the transformations and the infoprovider associated with DTP and reload data.
Check OSS 998730

Hi Tomas
Assertion failed error generally comes when your transfer rule/update/DS rule are not active
Reactivate DS and all other rules/transformation and load data again.

Hi,
You might want to raise a OSS message with SAP.
Note 967027 suggests that this should have been resolved with SP10. But looks like it came back with SP13.
Thanks,
Ashish
