Life Cycle : Phase In profile

I have created the Phase in profile which started in the past say Aug 07 with factors 10, 20, 40, 60, 80,100 and ending on Jan 08. After end date apply constant factor is 50%. I ran the statistical forecast in interactive mode. The basic value starting from current month (oct 07) is 1000.

The result got in the statistical forecast is

Aug 07 - nothing

Sep 07 - nothing

Oct 07 - 100 --> taken 10% of 1000

Nov 07 - 200 --> taken 20% of 1000

Dec 07 - 400 --> taken 40% of 1000

Jan 08 - 600 --> taken 60% of 1000

Feb 08 - 500 ---> taken 50% of 1000

Mar 08 - 500 -

> taken 50% of 1000

If you notice 80% and 100% are skipped.

Phase in works only on forecast horizon.

1. Should system not take Oct 07 as 40%, Nov 07 as 60%, Dec as 80%

and Jan 08 as 100% ?

2. What would be the result when it is same time next month ?

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Raj

I would recommend you also try to experiment with Life Cycle profile that has a weighing profile with a similar rampup to compare the results.

I am not sure what does Life Cycle profile mean ? Are you talking about Like Profile ?

I had created already Like Profile with weighing profile and created the scenario.

As far as Life Cycle Profile is concerned it is in ICH.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Like Profiles with ramping weighing profiles or dampening weighing profiles can emulate the same features as that of Phase in or phase out. I am hoping you were able to make it work. Ensure that you install the latest OSS notes since LC planning is an area where these notes keep coming up for corrections.

I am not conversant with Life cycle profile in ICH though.
