Assigning Portal Role to LDAP Users

Hi,

I have a role in my portal landscape. Also, the users are coming from LDAP.

I want to assign this role to all my users which are present in the LDAP.

How can we achieve this !!

Can anyone let me know .

Hi!

You can use user groups from your AD and assign role to the group rather than to specific users. If your LDAP works properly, you will be able to see Windows groups in Portal. This will also save you time: you can maintain user groups in AD rather than in Portal.

To assign a role to a group:

Portal Admin -> Role assignment.
