Hi Folks
I want to configure Service Registry as per the below link:-
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/index.htm
As per the prerequisites,i tried configuring service registry by
1 Configure UDDI server ---How do i find the Discovery URL Host Name as it is not coming by default?
I have put it like this :- http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX:50100 - is it correct?
2.Configure a Web service physical destination
-
A destination for access to the UDDI server
Destination Name: UDDI_DESTINATION
Type: WSDL
URL: http://<host_name>:50100/uddi/wsdl/uddi_v3_service.wsdl
Authentication: HTTP Basic
-
A destination for access to the SR classification service.
Destination Name: CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION
Type: WSDL
URL: http://<host_name>:50100/ClassificationService/CS?wsdl
Authentication: None
I have configured this perfect.
3 Configure user roles-Pre-defined and shipped i believe.
4 Configure Proxy Settings
Host:proxy
Port :8080
chosen Bypass proxy server for local addresses
Also i am not able to find and configure Physical system e.g FU2,C1S as could be seen in the Browse&Search tab of SR.
Please help me identify my mistakes and provide solutions.
Cheers
Navneet
Hi Navneet,
Since you are able launch the SR page, your settings for UUDI_DESTINATION and UDDI_CLASSIFICATION are correct.Because without
correct setting you won't be able to open the page itself.
Regarding the changing the physical system properties, i am not sure
whether you should be able to manage the published physical systems in SR.Because publishing system to SR is part of Service Publication to SR.So ideally it shouldn't allow to change the physical system independently.
Thanks and Regards
Ashis

Hi,
with the SR1 of CE there is no gui for publishing physical systems or services into Service Registry.
But the SR API is already availble.
So you can use the WebServices to publish System and Services.
Look at my blog: /people/robin.schroeder/blog/2007/08/08/publish-your-services-to-es-registry
With SP3 of CE there will be as well a gui for publish objects.
regards,
robin
