IS-Utilities CRM Web Solution

Former Member

Hi,

We are using SAP IS-Utilities 4,72 and CRM 4.0 solution. The platform is WAS 6.20.

We would like to implement a web-solution/portal where the customer can access their information and also perform specific operations - like perform product changes, access customer information, check bills and register meter reading. So it involves access to both CRM and IS-U.

Can someone tell if there exists some SAP specific web-solutions related to IS-Utilities like Customer Self-Service or Portal Business package to implement?

Can you provide any documentation in the area?

Thanks in advance

Andreas

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I have some further questions though.

Is Electronic Customer Services (UCES) part of any Portal Package or should it be run as a standalone web application?

I have heard there are two versions of UCES - 1.0 and 6.0. Are there any dokumentation of the difference between these two versions?

Is UCES developed in Java or BSP?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Andreas

Andreas,

I'm no expert in this but I believe you only need SAP CRM : SAP Customer Relationship Management and Billing for Utilities

Look at:
