NOWP queue

Hello,

SM51 -> Goto -> System informtion -> Queue information...

There is a row for the NOWP queue.

From F1 help I can see that NOWP means that this queue is for requests that are received by the dispatcher but which are not handled by work processes.

Could someone give an example of such a request?

Regards,

Peter Strauss

Hi Peter,

Take an example of user authentication. It doesn't need to go DB all the way, It will be done from user master by dispatcher it self, so there is no need of WP. SO It's an example of NOWP.

Hari.
