Problem while loading Fiscal Variant

Problem: For PK1 system “Z4” Fiscal Variant was created in the system. When the team tried to load this variant in the cube, it threw an error that “Z4 is not maintained for year 9999.”

Background: In time characteristics of COPA Totals cube 0Fiscalvarient, 0Fiscalyear, 0Calday and 0Calmnth is present. 0Fiscalyear is coming from the file as 1995-2007. 0Calday is coming from the field “Valid to”. 0Calmnth is automatically populated from 0Calday. “Valid to” contains year 9900s and the cube is partitioned on this field.

Hi Vandana,

First Transfer Global settings from source to BW(from RSA1 -->> sourc system --> context menu --> transfer global settings).Choose calender and fiscal variants.

Than load data.

Hi,

I am loading data from flatfile.

Further I have hardcoded my fiscal variant to "Z4" in Infosource.

still while loading data, it throws an error that "fiscal variant not specified this calender year".

Vandana,

I think Fiscal year variant "Z4" is not available in system or not maintained for year "9999" . You can check in table : T009 or T009*

Try to maintain first and load.
