Parner determination of Sold to party

Hi to all...

The scenarios is as follows.....

when a "SOLD TO PARTY" is entered in an Txn, automatically another "SOLD TO PARTY" (partner function category :sold to party) should be determined in a Zfield.

for this i have maintained realtionships in Sold to party masterdata(one entered by user) ...so that other sold to party can be determined....

The realtionship between these two sold to parties is "***********" what relationship category should be taken......

1. Can u just explain the scenario, why u require two sold to parties?

2. Whats the relation between two sold- to parties.

• There can be only one Sold- To party with partner function category Sold-to Party.

In standard cant we determine a sold to party from an sold to party?(through relationship)..

Hi sanjana,

Lets take an example, kindly validate my understanding of ur scenario:

I have two business partners in the role sold-to party XYZ and ABC

I have a sold to party XYZ whose relationship is maintained with another sold-to party as 'has ship to party' ABC.

Here when i enter XYZ as sold to party in the trnsaction, ABC gets determined as Ship to party.The determination is possible.

But it cannot be that entering XYZ will determine ABC as Sold-to party again.

The Partner function with function category Sold- to party can be populated only once.Other Sold-to Party will have to take up some other partner function.
