hi,

u can start with design, configuration then SLD.

How to transport??

go to IR->u will find export and import option.u need to export ur objects.u can export objects of IR as data type, message type, message interface etc....After exporting a .tpz file will be saved in ur DeV servers local sys....

copy that .tpz file into the local system of the server where u want to transport .Now import this file into IR of that server.

Hi,

I have a SLD in each system.

I have understood that I have to export/import all the objects from SLD (product, SWCV,TS,BS) . However, I don't understand why I have to export the TS too, because the TS will be different in the new system.

I don't understand how it's configured the channels? I have read that channels are exported/imported, but the data about machine/user/password isn't transported. Must I configure it manually later?

Please, help

The reason to export TS and the BS is that you would need to set the transport targets in the Target SLD where you map the DEV Business SYstem to the DEV Cons Business System.

Yep, this is right and it makes sense. Most of the parameters are independent of the Environment but details like user id , password , Ip address etc change across environments and hence when you do a transport, knowing all these details before hand s a must as you would need to enter these details and then activate the Transported Objects.

I would start with everything from Repository and Directory.

The SLD depends on you landscape configuraion. Single or multiple SLDs...

How you do it depends on whether you have CMS or FTP configured.
