URL iView as POPUP a

I want the URL iViw to be opened in popup window,.This I am able to achieve as display in seperate window.

But I want to postion the window also in such a way that the background things are visible and the popup location does not depend on browser.All users should get popup at same location

How can we set this in portal?

Double click on the iview and edit the property "Lanch in New Window" and change it to "Display it in seperate Window".

Hi,

I think you have to write a javascript to set the position of the window.

Portal provides iView the properties like, setting the windows height,width, fixed type or automatic or full page, but setting the position of the window is only possible by writing a javascript.

You are correct however just like in code/html you can include complex javascipt in the settings box - you just have to be careful with the syntax
