how to analyse error messages. ex .Message no. VF062 and what significance these message no.'s have.

When we receive any error we receive message number like what you referred "Message no. VF 062 .Based on these messages you can view the details and the solution in SAP OSS notes.The messages only gives certain amount of details,but there many user who post this error messages to SAP,and subsequently they receive the details of solve the issue related to the error message

Hi Rohith

Possible cause can be some error in financial interface. Go to VF02 and release the billing doc to accounting manually. This will display the exact error message that is preventing Billing doc in interfacing to accounting.

Hi,

You can go to SE91, pu the message class as VF, and Messages Number as 062, then click display. It will show the associated "error message".

VF indicates the application area.
