There are different scenarios for the usage of SSO. It can either be used for SSO to SAP systems or for also including the Enterprise Portal which offers two ways:
SSO with SAP logon tickets
SSO with user ID and password

Hi Manu,
If you are planning to use SAP Logon Tickets then yes you need access to Visual Administrator. You need to configure the Logon Tickets in the Security Provider.
