Release of forecast from DP to R/3

Hi SCM Gurus,

I am facing problem related to release of forecast from Demand Planning to R/3. When I check for PIR in R/3 no PIR is there.

1) the product and location are maintained in APO & R/3.

2) Location Split is maintained.

3) MPOS with only Product and Location.

4) PA with one KF of forecast. Disaggregation based on different KF.

5) Period for Storage bucket and Planning Mucket in Month.

6)Created Transfer Profile.

7) created back ground job.

😎 Maintained Publication.

Still when i release the job no PIR is created in R/3.

Am I missing any steps . Gurus. pls help..

also, active integration model is maintained for PIR. for given PRDT/LOC.

Hi,

Can you check the Time bucket profile of the Planning book using which you are releasing the forecast to R/3.

The Time bucket profile which is used for releasing should have only one periodicity(Eg: Either Months, Weeks, or day).

The problem got resolved. The RFC connection was not active. Did so and PIRs got created in R/3.
