Adding basic authentication in web service

Hey all,

I have developed a web service and deployed in SAP WAS.

It works fine. Now, I want to specify a fixed userid and password for that web service that any client should use to connnect to it.

How do I do it?

Hi ,

My web service requires basic authentication and I need to supply the username/password.

I have a java client.

Can you suggest a way to send the username and password along with the request.
