Engineering Change Management Extraction to BW

Hi Folks

I want to extract data from tables AENR and AEOI tables from Engineering Change Management into BW .My question is are there any

standard BC Data Sources that are available from SAP if not what will be the other ways to extract the data .

Any help is highly appreciated

HI,

you can create Generic data source extraction by using tables AENR, AEOI.

go to RSO2-- select which type of data you are going to create

master data or transaction data. give technical namecreateshort, medium, long

description you have to giveafter that application component(sd, mm,pp)in the

extraction from bw view sub screen-- give your table name-then select enter

select save push buttonit will take you to the extractor screenhere select which

our field you wantsavethen go to RSA3-check your data source containing data

or not.

in bw side do the replication--carry out the regular things

You do not have standard data-sources for Engineering Change Management. Fir generic data-source you would first need to create a view in SE11 using Change Number as the join condition between the 2 tables.Then create a generic data-source in RSO2(procedure in earlier post).

But before creating a generic data-source you need to decide whether you want to delta enable the generic data-source.For that you need to have either a timestamp,date or a numeric pointer in either of the 2 tables.
