Return material to Reservation

Dear all,

How can I return material reference reservaion that it goods issued.

Example

1. Reservation A, material01, qty 5 ea (Movement type 201)

2. Goods Issued ref. reservation A material01, qty 5 ea

*3. I would return material01, 2 ea to reservation A. And if i display reservation A it should be show me 3 ea for qty withdrawn

How can i do step 3? please help me.

Hi,

Goods Issue done for reservation should be reversed for 2 nos woth 202 mvmt type.

Hi John,

Use tcode MB1A

Movement type : use the mvt type which is the reversal movement type of your reservation(like 201 was the mvt type for reservation then enter 202)

press enter

In the next screen , click on the goods issue (available at the top of the screen)select cancel with ref to reservation and enter ur reservation No.then adopt it.

then enter the qty u want to reverse and post it.

Now when u display the reservation using tcode MB23, u will find only 3qty as withdrawn.

Can I use tcode MIGO instead of MB1A. please suggest me.

Yes, you can use MIGO instead of MB1A. SAP 4.7 onwards, MIGO can be used for all goods movements.

Hi Johni,

Yes , u can use tcode MIGo and then select Goods issue and the ref as Reservation.

Note please select the movement type as 202(if u have made the reservation with 201).

This will solve ur issue.

Dear Lakshman and Shawn,

I have already tested as your suggestion in tcode MIGO but it's still warning "Document xxxxxxxx does not contain any selectable items"

In tcode MIGO I select action "A07 Goods Issue" and ref. doc "R09 Reservation" and mvt 202.

Please advise me again

Hi Johni,

But it cant be done using MIGO, u can do it only through MB1A.
