Medium Desc in Report

Hello All,

We need to show medium desc of char in report. There is also short and long desc. by default on short is shown.

how to show medium description in Bex report?

Hi,

in the properties of the characteristic in BEX you have the choice to select short, medium or long text..

Hi Gaurav,

Go to Change Query Global View and In query designer, right click on the Characterstics and in Properties change it to Medium Description.

This can also be done at Infoobject level - by going to BEx tab and Selecting Medium Description there.

Also in Report page, right click on your Characterstics and from Context Menu select Charaterstic Display as ->More->medium text (but this is temporary) above mentioned 2 methods will help you do it permanently.
