Hi All,
While I am trying to create the absence for a PERNR the following error is occuring
"Counting rule /6/00.. does not exist"?
Points to be rewarded.

You have to create a counting rule for each absence, If the absence has quota deduction make sure u have assigned deduction rule for that counting rule.
TIME MANGEMENT>>TIME DATA RECORDINGS AND ADMINISTRATION>>ABSENCES>> ABSENCE CATALOG>> ABSENCE COUNTING>> RULES FOR ABSENCE COUNTING (NEW)>> DEFINE COUNTING RULES.
Hope this will be helpful.

Hi Jagadeesh,
Please go to transaction SPRO and follow this menu path:
Time Management>Absences>Absence Counting>
IMG Step: Assign Counting Rules to Absence Types
Make the required entries here.

Hi Alec/Anil,
It has solved my problem.
I am creating a casual leave for PERNR on 17.10.2007 but I am unable to undersatnd why "start" and "to" is dispalyed as 17.10.2007 as default, moreover the field "calendar days" is displayed as 1 before I create the absence and once I have created the absence AACL the same field cahnges to "zero".
Could guide me on this?
Regards
Jagadeesh
