How to do the SLD Content Export in XI ?????

Do we Need SLD Content Export in Real time Implementations ???

Hi

You need SLD Content Export when you have more that one SLD otherwise not required.

Okay, If Iam having Multiple SLD's One in DEV , One in QTY, One in PRD.

So here I need SLD Export. Right ?????

1) Here I need to Export Only TS & BS Or I need to Export SWCV & PRD Also???

Hi naga,

There are export and import statement for all objects in SLD.I guessu have to export all.

you can export whole SLD for dev to quality and so on........just make sure you are maintaing the proper tranport tagrets for the BS

Q2)Assume that We Exported All the SLD Content Fron DEV To QTY, ther Should we need to create Logical System in R/3 For Web AS ABAP Business Systems After the Export of SLD Content ????

go to this link

Administration.check the server is running.

then go to import.

give the path of file

<install drive>:\usr\sap\X11\SYS\global\sld\model

The answer is No. All these things are done only once at the time of XI post installation.

Only if you transport between SLDs.

Set up the Data Supplier Bridge in the SLD.

If you have a single SLD, then no.

If you have multiple SLD's then you need to have the transport paths defined in the SLD that you are importing into.

We have a Pre production and production SLD and the Prod SLD is a copy of the Pre SLD. This way the business systems change as they are transported through the landscape.
