Approval messages not coming back when approving by mail

Hello,

We are on SRM 4.0

Approval messages are sent from SRM to different approvers by mail. This works fine.

But when the person approves by mail this doesn't work.

In transaction sost messages are still with 'grey' status and in transaction scot messages are all in status 'in transit'.

This happens only in our Production environment.

Has anyone suggestions?

Hi Atul,

Our version is CRM 4.0 but i can't find the exact SRM version.

The second note you mentionned is from older version.

As for the first note it could be applied as i checked the program code but we have a quality system where approvals works fine.

Hi

Take help of BASIS person here to find SRM version details. Check out the transaction SPAM in SRM system to find the support pack details.

you should search for notes in BC-SRV-COM area and not

under SRM area.

and also check wether any difference exists between your

production system and other system with respect to mail

settings

Further to my previous reply , please also check the following

been transferred to the external nodes by the SAPconnect

send process but neither a positive nor a negative status

message has been received

check the following in your system

transaction SCOT--> in the menu

Settings ---> confirmation of reciept

have you set the value to 'SAP connect does not expect confirm.for

internet mail ?

Hello,

Just to inform of the issue of this urgent request.

There had been no DNS configuration after moving the ebp server to another place. This have changed IP address and server name. the responses couldn't been posted as the server name was pointing to the old server.

After the change all entries in "in transit" have been moved to "completed".
