Transporting standard SAP objects

Hello,

How to transport standard SAP objects from one SAP System to another(eg.from 4.6 to 6.0) by making a transport copy?

Could anyone guide me in this regard?

You can't transport between different versions, If you can explain more about your current scenario it will be use ful.

Yes. You are right. We can't transport between two versions.

I want to transport sap standard objects from onr SAP system to another Ex: from one R/3 system to another.

I think we can use normal procedure :

First,create a request with required objects and then release it.

But, all pre-requisites for the object (which we are going to transport) must be satisfied by the target system.

Is there any other procedure?

Hi Dipali,

If it's any program may be you can cut and paste the code and execute it in new version. I don't understand which objects you are talking.

Hi Dipali,

Through normal transport(TMS) procedure we can move objects from one system to another. Basis guys can help you by setting the destination system's path if source and destinatin systems are in the same network.
