Dispatcher stops

Former Member
0 Kudos

Dear all,

I installed ECC 6.0. And I could start it for several times. But now I can not start dispatcher. It starts first then stops.

How can I correct the error?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

from the tracefile of the dispatcher we can see that the system / dispatcher

directly goes down due to the fact that all of the workprocesses forked by

the dispatcher are somehow dying..

To find out why they are dying we need at least the tracefile of dev_w0 as mentioned in the previous reply..

Kind Regards

Hi,

Please check with oyur Database status and make sure that it is up and SAP Can connect to the Database.

Also try the following :

1) Stop the SAP System.

2) Stop the SAP Services.(Make the SAP Service Manual before you stop them - so that it does not trigger to automatic start)

3) Stop the database.

4) Stop the Database services.

REBOOT THE SERVER ON OS LEVEL.

Next

5) Make the Database services up

6) Make the database up.

7) Make the SAP Services UP.

😎 Make the SAP System UP.

NOW CHECK THE STATUS .....!

Regards,

Prem

Dear Premkishan,

Thanks for your respond. I have just done what you wrote. But result is the same.Dispatcher still stops.

Hi,

Please post dev_w0 log.

Try out R3trans -d and R3trans -w.

Try to perform a Kernel update (Please make sure that you take a backup of your existing kernel before doing kernel update)

Hi Feyyaz,

Its seems that the problem might be of JAVA VM so refer Note 854170

also Pls check and adjust the virtual memory to a suitable value .

Hope this is useful

Dear Umesh,

Thanks for your respond. But this problem started when I connected a lan which managed by a server. Before connected that lan it worked fine. And I worked with it several times.
