Installing WAS Server in Vista System But Running on XP Compatibility Mode

Hai Guys,

I Downloaded NetWeaver2004s Server and trying to install in Vista System but iam running on XP comapatibility Mode It's wento Instalation GUI after agreeing the Licence window Iam getting Below Error.

Can any Body face this kind of problem?

can any body tried to install WAS on Vista System

Hello Ravi

As far as I know Windows Vista is only supported for SAP GUI (frontend). You have to use Windows Server 2003 for the system itself. You can find more information on the supported operating system platforms at http://server.sap.com/pam.

Anyway, regarding the error you are facing, if you run an local installation, the user under you're running installation must be a member of a local Administrators group. And if you run a domain installation, computer must be member of a domain and the installation user must be a member of "Domain Admins".
