Attachement with Quotation and Production Order

Hello

One of my Customer wants to attach the Drawing details with all marketing documents and even with production Order

As he is doing Make to order the drawing varies from order to order

can any one can suggest a solution for this

Ranjith,

I think you are talking about Drawing i.e., design / diagram ??

If so, you need to go to Tools > User defined Fields > Manage user fields and under Marketing documents > Title - Click Add and Create a User defined field

Set Type = General and Structure = Link

Also add a Similar User field of type Link under Production > Production Order - Title

In the Sales Quote / Order / Prod Order window you will see this link field and you can double click on it and link the diagram to this link field.

FYI, What SAP really does is when you attach a document / picture / diagram it will copy it to the folder defined in the Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Path tab - Attachment Folder path
