Hi Pat,
In the SDN only you will get the trail versions of WAS Java/ABAP .Try working with these products.
Forget about mini sap4.6d.
Just download the lates available in SDN.

Hi Pat,
Asnwer to your big Question:
It is not required to install all modules.
Actually, when you install mini sap 4.6D,all the modules will come by default.
I hope I am clear.

Hi Pat,
here there are 2 things:
1. R/3 application server, which will have all modules, whther it is 4.6c or mini sap 4.6d,including the kernal.
2. another is kernal, which will be in the application server. This kernal also has got versions like 4.6d,
WAS 6.10,6.20 etc.. latest is 6.40.
If you have WAS 6.10,along with R/3 ,then you will have all the modules.
I hope this is clear now.

Hi Vikas
Thanks Again !!
I have got mini sap 6.10 in my machine. it doesnt have the basic r3 modules. its designed only for WAS features.
it has got a data and kernel CD with that. is it the same with mini sap 4.6 d too ? any idea ?
My big Question is, if I install mini sap 4.6 d on my machine after uninstalling mini sap 6.10 , do I still get the basic r3 modules installed on my machine
Thanks
Pat
Hi Pat,
Mini SAP is for a small company (with 3 to 10 employees).
This can be usd for demo also.
If you have WAS 610,then you have WAS kernal.
Kernal 4.6D is the last kernal with r/3 version 4.6c.
From r/3 version 4.7 onwards WAS is the kernal.
I hope this helps.
