SAP Interface Architecture

Hello All,

I am looking for any information or documentation on best practices for interfacing SAP to satellite systems. I would imagine XI would be a core component of this any such architecture.

The architecture would ideally be flexible and capable of handling all types of message traffic and protocalls, as well as having reasonable error handling capabilities.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of any documentation, success stories, etc. for XI enabled architectures? I have had a hard time finding them on this site.
