Suggestion needed for the right sequence at MSCS Installation Step

Hallo,

I am installing ECC 6.0 on Windows 2003 MSCS with Oracle 10.2.0.2

I have done the following steps succesfully:

Installation of OFS Software, Installation of the ASCS instance, Configure the first MSCS Node, Installation of the Database instance, Configure the additional MSCS Node

Install the ERS server (Enqueue Replication Service) at local disk, at both nodes.

At the guide of SAP Netweaver 7.00 SR2 ABAP is suggested as next step after ERS

to Install the Central Instance

and then create the Create the Oracle Failsafe Group and Add the Oracle database resource to Failsafe Group

At the guide of SAP ERP 2005 SR2 is suggested as next step after ERS

to Create the Oracle Failsafe Group, Add the Oracle database resource to Failsafe Group and finally Install the Central Instance .

Which is the right sequence to follow ? is it right to install the Central Instance

before we add the Oracle database resource to Failsafe Group , or after ?

Some additionnal details for being more specific.

The system copy will be done from:

a development system (that is not in MSCS) with the

ECC6.0 (ABAP only), Oracle 10.2.0.2, Windows 2003 - all components in 64bit/AMD

to:

the new installed system (from cd export) that is in MSCS with

ECC6.0 (ABAP only), Oracle 10.2.0.2, Windows 2003 - all components in 64bit/AMD

I found the guide

"System copy for SAP systems Based on SAP NW 7.0 SR2 ABAP"

At pg 33 of the guide is stated that we must use sapinst with option

System Copy for HA system.

That procedure assumed to be used as an initial installation with db copy for a HA

ECC6 system not yet installed ?

or

can we use it as well to refresh our already installed (from cd export)

HA ECC6 system ?

We checked that when we log on at the Central Instance we see at transaction SM51 that

the server name for the central instance is

<localhostdbname>_<SAPSID>_01.

Is this correct or it should be displayed as

<Logical sapgroupname_<SAPSID>_01?

use "SAP Netweaver 7.00 SR2" installation guide, correction for ERP 2005 SR2 is released in note 967121 - in other words you have to install the CI before configuring the OFS

Thank you for your reply.

I checked the note 967121. I saw that the correction for ERP 2005 SR2 was released

just today (17/OCT/07), but I had finished the CI installation earliest today ,

by configuring first the OFS and then install the CI. The installation ran smoothly

and also I installed DI and I logged on to new SAP clustered system.

Are there any points that I must pay attention at this case?

Also I will appreciate if you can point me a guide about homogeneous

system copy to MSCS for ECC6.0. I searched at sapnet

but could not find any relative guide.
