SAP AS Java and SAP Services Registry Configuration

Hi,

I am a SAP employee and I just installed the permanent version of CE 7.1 SP3 in my laptop. Now trying to run a Webdynpro Java application that will call a enterprise service on ES I am having problems finding the right config for the AS and the Service registry:

1) For the SAP Service Registry the below values does not work:

Server name: xi.esworkplace.sap.com

Server Port 50200

When I try to create a Model (Adaptative Web Service Model) and sign in into the Service Registry using user name: sruser and password is eswork123 I get an error message saying "Unable to connect to SR". When I try to access from my explorer http://xi.esworkplace.sap.com:50200/ I get "Description: Could not connect to the server "xi.esworkplace.sap.com". I do not know what to do now.

2) For the SAP AS Java, for some reasons under NWDS->Window->Preferences->SAP AS Java the area to configure the local host is empty and gray out, and if I try localhost:3601 under the SAP AS Java is installed on remote host area I do not get the green light on the SAP AS Java Cluster overview and I cannot deploy my application.

Any advice is welcome.

PS: I have been able to handle all the parameters mentioned above on the CE 7.1 SP1 trial version, but not on this one.

For the AS Java config. I use port 3901 and everything worked fine. I am closing this thread.

Thanks Robin, the new location worked fine using port 50000.

My config for the AS Java is still wrong.

the ES Workplace service registry is moved to http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/
