UME configuration

Hi,

I have requirement that add certificate for new created user in UME. I know it can be done in J2EE <b>Visual Administrator tool</b> by configuing “Security Provider” service. This is started by running go.bat.

Can anybody tell me how to do it by SAP NetWeaver Administrator directly? I can not find the place where it can be configued from the below link. <b>http://localhost:57000/nwa</b>.Kindly please provide the detailed path to configue it. Thanks a lot.

Hello Oscar,

did you configure the UME with a datasource configuration XML file that includes attribute mapping for client certificates? by doing so you would find the information in NWA on the user details on the tab "customized information".

Thanks for your reply. My requirement is assign one of the certificate maintained in Key Storage to a created user in UME. I know it can be done by Visual Administrator tool with "Security Provider" service. But how can it be done by Web Dynpro based Administrator tool? I can not find corresponding place here. Do you have any experience?

The UME UI is part the NWA.
