Re-calculation of components costings

Hello all,

SAP re-calculates and saves all components costings when it calculates a higher level material standard costing.

So, when a component is used in 2 materials, whose costings are calculated at 2 different dates, SAP saves 2 costings for the component. And the behaviour is the same if the component is used in 10 (or more) higher level materials. It is quite embarrassing for someone looking for the component costing.

So, here is my question : do you know if it is possible not to save components costing when SAP calculates a higher level material costing ?

Thanks very much for your help., reward points are waiting for you !

A BOM may contain materials that has already been costed or already produced or stored in another plant, and costed in that plant. You can use this existing data in costing, and transfer it to other cost estimates
