Information Broadcasting

Hi Friends,

I am working in BW3.5 Version.

My requirement is once the query execution is completed, the output is automatically sent to paricular user e-mails.

For this I am planned to implement information broadcasting. I want some material related to information broadcasting. With the help of sap online help smtp configuration all are done. But i want step by step process to implement information broadcasting.

If any one having best practices are any documents please send me.

Hi Karthik,

I open query in change query global definition mode -> Publish -> BEx Broadcaster. An empty internet explorer page is displaying.

Before this any configuration is required?

Hi Srikanth,

Empty site is the case if you will get an error at execution of the Broadcast.

For trouble shooting on Broadcaster see this.

If any document or pdf file is there please send me. It is very urgent.

i am following 2 processes, that i can explained below.

When i open the query in chage golbal definition -> Publish -> BEx Broadcaster, an empty internet explorer file is displaying.

Please tell me what are the steps i can do?

SAP Reference IMG -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Business Information Warehouse -> Report-relevant Settings -> BEx Web -> Determine Standard Web Templates -> Standard Web Template for Query Precalculation.

Here it is asking 4 parameters:

Ad-hoc analysis

Broadcasting

Query precalculation

Document Browser

But i don't know what values i set here.

Please tell me what are the settings i can do.
