FTP server file path

Hi Experts,

I need to place the file in "C:/CacheSys/PI" in FTP server.

what is the target directory i must specify in Communication channel.

Hi,

Here is an example:

Server: 10.151.202.145

Port: 21

Directory: /Optitime/OT/Dev/inbox

Hi,

Where ever u want to place the File give that directory.

in Target side give like this,

C:/CacheSys/PI/Target

Create a target directory and run ur senario.

Hi

you can use the same name in the target directory.

but the folder that you create should be on the same path.

C:/CacheSys/PI

go to c: dir , then go to Cachesys then go to PI and put the file in this folder.

Hi,

If you read the question, the file is to be placed on a FTP server.

Therefore the example I have quoted is correct. You do not need to specify the C: drive in the target directory as far as I know as you are connecting to the FTP server so it is the directory name is relation to the root directory of the FTP server.
