Hi,

Could you please anyone provide me some help on the topics Integration Builder:Design and Configuration.(Integration Repository and Integration Directory). I need the help on the topics covered inside Integration Repository an Integration Directory.(What is interface objects,Mapping Objects, Adapter Objects in Integration Repository). Also the topics in Integration Builder.

Also please provide some help on SLD.The topics covered in this like:

1)What is Software Catalog(Software Components and Products)

2)Business Landscape

3)Technical Landscape

I will thankful to you if you provide some help on te above topics.I am planning to get Certified in XI by October

ID is the place wherein you define all ur design time objects.In IR you specify all ur configuration objects....ie the data types ,messgae types,and the interfaces along with the mapping rules are mentioned in the ID. then in the IR, the routing rules, the sender(s), the receiver(s) are specified.Adapters are used to connect,and transform the messages in the xml format, to the external systems.

If its SAP to SAP communication with version 6.2c or higher you go for proxies which do not make use of proxies.

Hi Priyanka,

I think you mixed up the roles of IR (Integration Repository) and ID (Integration Directory). It's just the other way around.

I admit tht mistake......yes its the other way round...just 'R' and 'D' problem.
